Dr Austin Obichere MBBS, MD, FRCS, FRCS (Gen)

Dr Obichere is a Consultant General/Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgeon at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and Honorary Senior Lecturer, University College London (UCL). He also has a private practice at the Harley Street Clinic in London and now at D&TEC Lagos.

Dr Obichere underwent specialist training in Coloproctology at St.Marks Hospital in London and Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree from the University of London.
He is Director of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme at UCLH, a Joint Advisory Board (JAG) Accredited, expert bowel cancer screening colonoscopist and is Chairman Colorectal Cancer Tumour Board Health Care America (HCA) Hospitals, U.K. His specialist interest include laparoscopic colorectal surgery, screening and treatment of colorectal cancer and other disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and pelvic floor.

Dr Abuchi Okaro MS FRCS (Gen)

Dr Abuchi Okaro MS FRCS (Gen) is a Consultant General/Laparoscopic/Upper GI surgeon at the Kent Oncology Centre, Maidstone. He has his private practices at the Wellington Hospital and Hospital of St Johns and St Elizabeth's in London.

Dr Okaro underwent specialised training in upper GI at the Royal Marsden and St Thomas' Hospitals in London and at the National Cancer Centre in Tokyo, Japan. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and holds a Masters in Surgery (MS) Degree from the University of London.
His specialist practice interests are in management of benign and malignant upper gastro-intestinal disorders, anti-reflux and bariatric surgery.




Dr Ayo Oshowo MS, FRCS, FWACS (Hon)

Dr Ayo Oshowo trained in Laparoscopic and Colorectal surgery in Oxford and London, UK. He was a Travel Fellow at The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.

He obtained an MS by thesis at the University of London and was appointed Consultant Surgeon at Whittington Hospital and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College, London. He has a broad general surgical background and wide experience in endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery. He presently leads the Enhanced Recovery Programme at the Whittington Hospital, which offers patients excellent outcomes following complex colorectal surgery.
